Which document is needed, and what for
A burial rests, formally, on a chain of documents. First the medical certificate of death, then registration at the Public Service Hall and the death certificate itself, and finally the cemetery administration's permission for a specific plot. Each of these is issued by a different office and on its own timetable.
We walk that chain instead of the family. What we need from you is the deceased person's ID and the document of whoever files the application; everything after that is collected by our staff member, who carries the papers, obtains them, checks the details for errors and hands them back to you as a finished set. If the death occurred outside Tbilisi, we work the same way on location.

Frequently asked questions
What should I prepare first?
The deceased person's ID card or passport, and the document of the person filing the application. If a medical certificate has already been issued, pass that on as well. Everything after that stage is taken over by us.
Can documents be arranged from outside Tbilisi?
Yes. Someone is reachable at any hour and our staff member travels to you. Transport within the city starts at 150 GEL, and elsewhere in Georgia from 2.5 GEL per kilometre. The order of the paperwork stays the same.
How does it work in the case of cremation?
Cremation is arranged separately, both in its conditions and in its cost, which is quoted individually. The documentary side is more detailed than for a burial, so please contact us first and we will go through your particular situation.
